A web based Travel Company based in Karen; Nairobi has an opening for an intern.
The duration of the internship is 3 months with a possibility of extension. Expected start date is early February 2013.
A small remuneration will be given to the right candidate.

Duties and responsibilities
• Research on required information in the tourism sector
• Upload material on the website
• Updating and general running of the company’s online social presence (facebook)
• Attending to clients over the phone
• Generate write up material for the website and edit already existing information
• Attend to other day to day office duties as required

Requirements:
• A university degree/ college diploma STRICTLY in the tourism/ travel/ hospitality industry.
• Solid knowledge of computers especially Microsoft office and internet use.
• Must have good interpersonal skills, ability to deal with different people professionally, and be able to communicate articulately over the phone
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Conversant with social media, must have an active facebook or twitter account
• Must be aged between 23-26 years
• Ability to handle day to day office demands
• Good geographical knowledge of Kenya
• A self motivated individual who requires minimal supervision
• Must be able to commute to Karen with ease- candidates living within close proximity of Karen and its environs preferred.
