Niusline Media Limited is a public relations and communication company, with operations in Media relations, printing and graphic design, video production and Editing. It attracts and serves a wide audience in Kenya and beyond. We are seeking for interested candidates to undertake internships in Public relations and Marketing.
Job Objective.
Internships are aimed at providing the incumbent with hands on skills in development and management of public relations projects. The Intern will understudy the Projects manager and Commercial manager. Successful candidates will undergo training for 3 months and will be absorbed in the company upon successful completion of internships.
Key Responsibilities.
- Undertake various roles as assigned by the supervisors. The roles will mainly be in Event management, Media relations and management, Media monitoring, Video production and editing, Graphic design, Printing, Public relations, and Social media communication
Knowledge and skill requirement.
The successful candidate must have the following skills
- Have a broad understanding of Public relations and communication activities
- Have excellent analytical skills
- Have a creative mind
- Have excellent writing skills
- Have excellent skills in MS office and internet research
- Be open minded and a quick learner
- Be available to undertake the internship for 3 months without any leave or days off.
- Be available to undertake the internship without any pay or allowances
- Be a recent graduate (not earlier than June 2012) or awaiting graduation
- Have excellent work ethics and work place etiquette
- Be self motivated and able to work with little supervision
- Knowledge on web management, graphic design, script writing, and video production & editing will be an added advantage.
- No experience is required for this position
