Finance Officer Intern


We are seeking to place a Finance Officer Intern who will work hand-in-hand with the Finance Business Analyst and report to the Chief Executive Officer. 

The incumbent will assist in tasks to:


  1. Ensure the company’s finance department runs in a professional and ethical manner,whilst overseeing the office administrative aspect of the business,
  2. Facilitate management decision making by providing accurate and timely financial reports,
  3. Continuous development and improvement of the procedures, processes and policies,
  4. Designing and consistently implementing efficient and effective financial and reporting process
  5. Ensuring that the company’s financial and accounting policies and procedures and controls are adhered to

Other key roles and responsibilities:


  • Financial Analysis: preparing management reports, engage in ongoing cost reduction analysis in the company, interpret the company’s financial results to management and recommend improvement activities
  • Compliance Measures: timely and accurate filling of tax returns, co-ordinate compliance exercises/requirements to statutory authorities within the company’s context of operations
  • Budgeting Analysis: pricing of all services and products, preparation of annual budgets, conduct budgetary reviews and control and report to management.
  • Cash & Bank Management: preparing vouchers and posting them to the general ledger, bank reconciliations, and forecast cash flow positions to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements of the business.
  • Debtors & Creditors Management: generation of client’s invoices, accounts receivables and payables ageing analysis
  • Office Administration: ensure responsible management and use of assets in the business
  •  Relationships: manage and maintain relationships with stakeholders

Qualifying Requirements of the Candidate:


  1.  Recent graduate, with qualification in a business field
  2. CPA Part 2 /ACCA level 2 qualifications would be an added advantage
  3. Good working knowledge with Spreadsheets(MS Excel)
